Neivel Precision Plumbing adds $4000 in purse money to Kick Off 2026

BREWERTON, NY (May 4, 2026) – After a one-week delay due to cold weather and minor technical issues discovered during Test & Tune, the wait is over as Brewerton Speedway is set to officially kick off the 2026 season this Friday, May 8th with the Season Opener presented by Neivel Precision Plumbing. Originally scheduled for May 1st, the highly anticipated opener is now ready to go, with teams and fans eager to get the season underway on the ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon.’
High speed racing excitement will feature the grandstand shaking 800 horsepower Tracey Road DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, AmeriCU STARS Mod Lites, and the Mirabito DIRTcar Four Cylinder Super Stocks. Courtesy of returning event sponsor Neivel Precision Plumbing, racers will be racing for increased purses on Friday. More than $4000 in purses monies have been added with winner's shares increased to $2250 for Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, $850 for Tracey Road DIRTcar Sportsman and $500 for both the AmeriCU Mod Lites and Mirabito DIRTcar 4-Cylinder Super Stocks. Start monies have also been increased for this weekend courtesy of Neivel Precision Plumbing with a minimum of $250 to start for Modifieds, $75 to start for Mod Lites, $100 to start for Sportsman and $65 to start for 4-Cylinders.
The fastest, affordable family fun in Brewerton – Adults $15, 18 years and younger are free. Pit passes are $35 for DIRTcar/IMCA Members, $40 for Non-Members.
The pits will open at 4:30 pm. Grandstands at 5:30 pm. Hot Laps at 6:10 pm, with the first green flag of the 2026 season set to drop at 7:00 pm.
