Late Models Coming To Brewerton Speedway This Friday, May 25 For A Five Star Racing Program

BREWERTON, NY – The Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Rush Late Models are set to put on door-to-door and fender-to-fender racing excitement this Friday, May 25 at the Brewerton Speedway as they will join the other four divisions for a night of racing excitement.

With the Late Models not being a weekly division at the speedway, it will be a high-speed slugfest with the talented RUSH Late Model racers battling for a visit to the ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon’ victory lane.

Joining the RUSH Late Models will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, SUNY Canton DIRTcar Sportsman, STARS Mod Lites and JB Logging & Firewood 4-Cylinders.

Adult grandstand admission is $15 and everyone 18 years old and under is free. Pit admission is $27 Member, $30 Non-Member. Grandstands will open at 5:30 pm with racing at 7:30 pm.

Fans, upon your arrival to the Speedway this evening take notice that the section of bleachers closest to turn one is closed. This is the beginning of a season long project that will see every section of bleachers be totally renovated and outfitted with aluminum seating. This process will go a section or two at a time throughout the summer moving from turn one to turn 4. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we are sure the end result will be worth it.

Opening week saw a pit full of cars with the racing on the track intense from the first wave of the green flag to kick off the new season until the final checkered flag of the night. Opening night feature winners were, Larry Wight (Big Block Modifieds) Corey Barker & Dave Marcuccilli (Sportsman) Justin Williams (Mod Lites) Ray Bechler (4-Cylinders).
