Trenca Facing Five Straight Races This Week, Including Debut at Little Valley

Inside Line Promotions – CLAY, N.Y. (June 30, 2015) – Joe Trenca is embarking upon his busiest week of the year.

Trenca will compete in five races during consecutive days and he expects nothing less than great results with his Mucci Motorsports team.

The action begins on Wednesday at Brewerton Speedway in Brewerton, N.Y., with the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints. Trenca will then tackle four races with the Patriot Sprint Tour on Thursday at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in Canandaigua, N.Y., Friday at Little Valley Speedway in Little Valley, N.Y., Saturday at Stateline Speedway in Busti, N.Y., and Sunday at Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pa.

“We’ve looked forward to this week since we put our schedule together in the offseason,” he said. “We run well at Brewerton and Canandaigua. I’m pretty confident and we have a lot of momentum rolling. We’ve been fast every week. I think a win is around the corner. It’d be nice to get one during this speedweek.”

Trenca, who is coming off his first career podium finish and who has earned three top fives in his last seven races, has raced at every track except Little Valley Speedway.

“I’ve watched videos and it looks like my kind of track,” he said. “It’s a bigger track and is real, real flat. We’ve gone to six or seven tracks we hadn’t been to this year and done well. Going to a new track doesn’t change up the way we’re thinking.”

Trenca also said he is looking forward to returning to Canandaigua Motorsports Park for the first time since his 410ci debut at the track on June 11.

“We didn’t finish that well, but I feel like we ran well there,” he said. “It’s very wide and racy. The outside usually is pretty good and lately we’ve had cars hooked up on the outside. I’m hoping we can put that experience toward the 360 this weekend and do pretty good there.”
