BREWERTON SPEEDWAY CANCELS RACING FOR FRIDAY JULY 27 DUE TO RAIN

BREWERTON, NY – Late afternoon and early evening rain and thunderstorms forced Brewerton Speedway track officials to cancel the races for Friday July 27 on Avon Products / Ferris Industries Night. The cancellation marked the second consecutive and fifth rainout of the 2007 race season at “The D-Shaped DIRT Demon”.

            Coming up this Friday August 3 at Brewerton Speedway is the annual Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Modified Series with a 100-lap Ferris Industries special. All of the greatest names in DIRTcar Big Block Modified racing will be on hand to capture the $6,000 winner’s share. Also in race action will be the World Products IMCA Modified Empire State Series plus the ESDCA Mod Lites. The Donnie Moran Dirt Late Model Simulator will also be in town to give race fans exciting rides just like you were behind the wheel.

The gates this Friday August 3 at Brewerton Speedway on Ferris Industries / Night will open at 5pm with racing beginning at 7:30pm. Time trials for the Modifieds will begin at 6:45pm.
