FANS WITNESS WILD SHOW AT BREWERTON SPEEDWAY ON MONRO MUFFLER / BRAKE & SERVICE FAMILY FUN NIGHT

 

BREWERTON, NY...Fans witnessed a wild night of racing at Brewerton Speedway last Friday on Monro Muffler / Brake & Service Family Fun Night. Rob Keller, Tim Devendorf, Dave Mannise and Joey Delacruz were all feature winners at the D-shaped DIRT Demon.
 

     Rob Keller claimed his sixth 20-lap IMCA Modified feature race victory of the season last Friday night. Johnny Hill, Kevan Cook, Steve Coit and Don Renfer rounded out the top five feature finishers. Keller came charging from the tenth starting position to the lead in just four circuits. Coleen Finch and Bob Bradt were early feature race leaders.
 

     Tim Devendorf won his third 20-lap ESDCA Mod Lite feature race of the year last Friday night. Dan Williams, Tod Simons, Lowell Zehr and Andrew Schartner finished in positions second through fifth respectively. Devendorf made the winning move past Simons on lap-10. John Byrnes and  Joe Gwilt were also feature race leaders in the event that started 28 cars.
 

     Veteran Dave Mannise earned the victory in the 20-lap Pure Stock main event last Friday Night. Rusty Marsden, Ron Marsden, Curt Prevo and Steve Woodworth completed the top five feature finishers. Woodworth led the first circuit of the main event. Mannise passed Woodworth on lap two and then held off all challengers for the victory.
 

     Joey Delacruz won his seventh 15-lap Four Cylinder Super Stock feature race of the season last Friday night. Matt Wetterer, Chuck Powelczyk, Aron Backus and Claude Hutchings Jr. completed the top five feature finishers. Backus led the first seven laps of the main event. Wetterer passed Backus for the lead on lap eight. Delacruz made the winning move past Wetterer one circuit later.
 

     The Midstate Vintage Stock Car Club returned to Brewerton Speedway and produced quite a show. Feature winners included Bill Kisselstein (50's), Phil Claussen (60's) and Ally Amell (70's).
 

     Rich Keller earned the victory in the eight lap Keller Insurance IMCA Modified Cash Dash. Brian Evenden, Don Renfer, Bob Bradt, Coleen Finch and Carmen Vona Jr. completed the field in the event sponsored by the fine folks from Keller Insurance.
 

     This Tuesday at Brewerton Speedway is Two For One General Admission Special Night. In action will be the IMCA Modifieds, ESDCA Mod Lites, a $500 to win Pro Stock Open, a $400 to win Pure Stock Open, a $200 to win Four Cylinder Super Stock special and a $200 to win event for the Four Cylinder Enduro racers. Race time is set for 7:30 p.m.
 

     Coming up this Friday at Brewerton Speedway is the final Family Autograph Night of the season. In competition will be the DIRT Big Block Modifieds, IMCA Modifieds, ESDCA Mod Lites, Four Cylinder Super Stocks and the Four Cylinder Enduro racers. Show time is 7:30 p.m.
