BREWERTON, NY...Tim Fuller
won his first 35-lap DIRT Big Block Modified feature race of
the season last Friday at Brewerton Speedway on Maple View
Garage Night. Fuller claimed the victory in dominating
fashion as he never looked back after gaining the top spot
on lap-13 over the 25-car starting field. The victory for
the Native Poker.com sponsored team was worth $2,000.
Dan Williams raced out to
the early lead at the start of the Maple View Garage DIRT
Big Block Modified feature race from the outside pole
starting position. Joe Isabell took the top spot away from
Williams on lap two and the young driver would lead the
field through lap six. Vic Coffey took the lead away from
Isabell on lap seven. Fuller and Coffey would trade the lead
on laps 11 and 12, with Fuller back in front on lap-13.
A long stretch of green
flag racing allowed Fuller to open up his lead while
battling in and out of lapped traffic. A late race caution
period grouped the field together, but Fuller was never
challenged for the victory. Alan Johnson worked up from the
20th starting position to finish second. Rookie driver Kevin
Bates recorded a strong third place effort with veterans
Jimmy Phelps and Billy Decker completing the top five
feature finishers.

second straight 20-lap IMCA Modified feature race last
Friday at Brewerton Speedway. Johnny Hill, Les Hubbard,
Kevin Cook and Carmen Vona Jr. finished in positions second
through fifth respectively. Bob Bradt and Steve Coit were
early feature race leaders before Jeffries took the top spot
on lap four. Rich Keller took the lead away from Jeffries on
lap-14 and would lead through lap-18 when Jeffries made the
winning move.
