BREWERTON,

second DIRT Big Block Modified feature race win of the season
last Friday at Brewerton Speedway on Ferris Industries Night.
Decker started in the 17th starting position and for several
laps the veteran actual lost positions. But, once the former
Track Champion at the D-shaped DIRT Demon started moving to the
front there was no stopping the Gypsum Wholesalers ride.
Dan Williams raced out to the
early lead at the start of the Ferris Industries DIRT Big Block
Modified feature race from the outside pole starting position.
Williams would lead the opening eight circuits. Vic Coffey took
the lead away from Williams on lap nine. Coffey would hold the
lead through lap-11 when he lost power on the track.
Williams inherited the lead and would hold it until lap-16.

took the top spot away from Williams. Ward had company working
through the field and with seven circuits remaining the top five
of Jimmy Phelps, Tim Fuller, Billy Decker and Tim McCreadie were
all in contention for the victory. Decker made the move past his
teammate for the lead on lap-31. In the final laps Decker
remained flawless and earned the $2,000 payday.

McCreadie finished in positions second through fifth
respectively. Alan Johnson, Stewart Friesen, Williams, Matt
Sheppard and Chuck Bower rounded out the top ten finishers in
the talented field.

Anderson Jr. led the opening two circuits of the main event
before Rob Keller took the top spot away. Keller appeared headed

to go.
