SPEEDWAY SEASON OPENER RAIN DELAYED TO FRIDAY, APRIL 29
BREWERTON, NY...The 2005 Grand Opening at Brewerton Speedway
will now be Friday, April 29 after the scheduled season
opener was rained out last Friday. The DIRT Big Block Modifieds, IMCA Modifieds, Mod Lites, Four Cylinder Super
Stocks and the Four Cylinder Enduro racers will all be in
competition. Race time is set for 7:30 p.m.
Billy Decker, Tim Fuller, Tim Sears, Gary Tomkins, Ryan
Phelps, Steve Hulsizer, Pat Ward, Dale Planck, Danny
Johnson, Tom Sears, Mitch Gibbs, Alan Johnson, Matt
Sheppard, Scott Prentice, Vic Coffey, Bob McCreadie and
Chuck Bower were all have to wait one week to look for the
victory in the season opener.
Despite the expected rainy weather strong car counts
were in the pits ready for the season opener. The total
included 24 DIRT Big Block Modifieds, 23 IMCA Modifieds, 26
Mod Lites and 21 Four Cylinder Super Stocks. All four
classes will return along with the Four Cylinder Enduro
racers.
Brewerton Speedway gates on Friday, April 29 will open
at 5:30 p.m. Race competition will start at 7:30 p.m. For

The track is located on Route 11 in Brewerton, N.Y.
Free parking and overnight camping is offered for every
event. Children nine years of age and under are admitted
free of charge for every event. Adult admission for the
season opener is $12. Ages 10-14 will be admitted for only
$5.
