BREWERTON, NY…Alan Johnson continued his mastery of Brewerton Speedway last Thursday night by winning the JE Pistons 100 Turning Stone Casino 358 Modified Super DIRT Series Race. Johnson, the 2002 Brewerton Speedway DIRT Big Block Modified Track Champion, earned $4,000 for the win in the Maroney Motorsports entry. Johnson closed out the 2002 season at the D-shaped DIRT Demon in victory lane in front of what could have been the biggest crowd in the history of the facility.

Danny Johnson would lead the 32-car starting field up until lap eight. Bower, the 2001 Brewerton Speedway DIRT Big Block Modified Track Champion regained the lead on lap nine.

Tim Fuller, Steve Paine, Chad Brachmann, Matt Sheppard and Brett Hearn raced in positions sixth through tenth respectively at the halfway mark. Alan would lead the rest of the distance for the impressive victory. Danny Johnson snuck by Bower on lap 98 to finish second. Bower, Ward and Paine completed the top five feature finishers.
