BREWERTON, NY – June 26, 2016 – The biggest Sprint Car event in New York State kicks off at the “D-Shaped Dirt Demon” this Wednesday, June 29 when A-Verdi Storage Containers presents race number-one of the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Speedweek invades the Route 11 speedway. Look for the best 360 Sprint Car drivers in the Northeast ready to do battle not only against each other but to battle one of the toughest speedways they will race on for the $2,000 winner’s share.

Also on the race card will be the exciting Sportsman as they will vie for the $1,000 to-win top prize. The winner will also get a coveted starting spot in the lucrative Industrial Tire of CNY Sportsman Shootout Championship during the Fulton Speedway’s 31st Annual Outlaw 200 Weekend on September 30-October 1.

In the 2015 ESS Speedweek opener the "Cobra" Chuck Hebing used a last lap pass for the win, nipping Danny Varin and Jason Barney by 0.533 of a second at the finish. Pennsylvania's Mark Smith finished fourth with Paul Kinney fifth.

Like the Sprint Cars the Sportsman didn’t disappoint in a barn-burner of a race that came down to the final lap. 2015 track champion Jack Meeks and Rocco Leone swapped the lead back and forth as the final laps clicked off the lap counter. Coming out of turn four heading to the checkers, Meeks would narrowly win the drag race down the front straight over Leone. Billy Clark Jr., Dave Marcuccilli and Kevin Ridley would finish third through fifth.

Adult grandstand admission on June 29 is $16 with everyone 18 yrs. old and younger free, pits are $35. Gates will open at 5:30 with racing at 7:30.

The Brewerton Speedway would like to welcome marketing partner and title sponsor of the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways 360 Sprint Car Series A-Verdi Storage Containers.
