Two Days Of Big Block Modified Madness At The Brewerton Speedway September 18-19. 50 Lap $3,000-To-Win Friday; Super DIRTcar Series Saturday

By Dave Medler – BREWERTON, NY – September 9, 2015 – The sights and sounds of the ground shaking power of the Big Block Modifieds will be tearing up the clay at the ‘Duel at the Demon’ weekend Friday and Saturday September 18-19 at the Brewerton Speedway.

On Friday, September 18th Universal Metal Works will present the Big Block Modifieds that will be battling for 50-laps and the $3,000 winner’s share. Also on the race card will be the highly competitive FX Caprara Car Companies Upstate Sportsman Alliance Series.

Not only will this be an Alliance race for the Sportsman, race teams will also be vying for $1, 0000-to-win top prize that carries an Industrial Tire Of CNY Sportsman Shootout Championship qualifying spot at the Fulton Speedway during the 30th Outlaw 200 weekend October 2-3.

After the Friday night tune-up for the Big Block Modifieds the pressure will be turned up a notch on Saturday when McDonald’s presents the stars and cars of Modified Super DIRTcar Series as they will battle for 100-laps on one of the toughest tracks in the Northeast to get a win the ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon.+’

Hitting the speedway Saturday with the Modifieds will be the SUNY Canton Sportsman and Pro Race Cars Mod Lites.

Friday adult grandstand admission will be $20 with students 14 yrs. old and younger $5. Saturday adult grandstand admission is $25 with students 14 yrs. old and younger $10. Gates both nights will open at 5:30 with racing at 7:30.

The 2015 season will wrap up in a big way during Super DIRT Week when one of the most popular races for fans and competitors will take place Thursday, October 8th. Two big Super DIRT Series races will fill the pits when SUNY Canton presents the 23rd Annual Hurricane 100 for the stars and cars of 358 Modified Series plus the Sportsman Super DIRT Series. Racing will start on that night at 7:30.
