Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Return To The Brewerton Speedway To Start Labor Day Weekend Friday, September 4th

By Dave Medler – BREWERTON, NY – August 21, 2015 – After the cancellation of the August 14th date of the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints visit to the Brewerton Speedway, officials from the speedway and ESS had talks for a replacement date, and a date was agreed upon by both parties.

What a way to start your last blast of summer on Labor Day weekend Friday, September 4th when ‘Wings & Warriors’ featuring the methanol burning, winged Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints and the 800 horsepower, ground pounding warriors of the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds will take center stage presented by A-Verdi Storage Containers and NAPA Auto Parts.

Track championships will be decided in the Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman and Pro Race Cars Mod Lites. The Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinders will have the night off as their point season will end on August 28th.

With the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints having a three-race Labor Day weekend schedule, anticipation is high for some of the best 360 Sprint Car drivers in the region to be in Central N.Y.
Larry Wight will be looking to defend home turf when he straps into his Gypsum Express/Big Red Towing/No.99L 360 Sprint along with local favorites Jason Barney, Shawn Donath, Paul Kinney, Tommy Wickham, Bryan Howland and others. Led by ESS point’s leader Steve Poirier from Quebec, Chuck Hebing, Matt Tanner and a strong contingent of travelers will be looking to take the ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon’ cash home.

Adult grandstand admission on September 4 will be $20 with everyone 18 yrs. old and younger FREE. Pit admission will be $35. Gates will open at 5:30 with racing starting at 7:30.
