By Dave Medler – BREWERTON, NY – June 24, 2015 – With school in the rearview mirror, bring your graduate or student to the Brewerton Speedway this Friday, June 26th for a job well done this past school year where everyone 18 yrs. old or younger is FREE.

Marketing partner NAPA Auto Parts who is also the title sponsor of the Fulton Speedway Late Model division and the weekly supporter of the Brewerton & Fulton Speedway “NAPA Know How Performer of the Week” will present an evening of fast, family, affordable fun at the “D-Shaped Dirt Demon.”

On the race card will be the Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman, Pro Race Cars Mod Lites, Hilton’s Automotive Four Cylinders plus an appearance by the NAPA Late Models.

A look back at June 19th racing and top-five division point standings.

Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds – After winning the season opening two races, defending track champion Matt Sheppard had finishes recently not up to his standards. All that changed last Friday when Sheppard put a new FX Caprara Chevy/HBR/No.9H in victory lane. Jimmy Phelps keep racking up top finishes and leads the points. TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS - Jimmy Phelps 310. Matt Sheppard 294. Pat Ward 258. Billy Decker 246. Ryan Phelps 238.

SUNY Canton Sportsman – Defending Fulton Speedway track champion Ron Davis III is finding weekly Brewerton Speedway to his liking. Last Friday Davis started 10th in the 25-Lap feature taking the lead from Rich Townsend on Lap-14 then going on to his second win of the season. TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS – Ron Davis III 293. Tony Finch II 266. Jack Meeks 263. Mike Prentice 262. Rich Townsend 252.

Pro Race Cars Mod Lites – Joe Isabell continued his winning ways, snagging two feature wins last Friday, his sixth in seven starts. TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS – Joe Isabell 394. Jim Bogett 350. Jeff Sykes 338. Mike Mullen 320. Lowell Zehr 320.
Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinders – Most cars that are 18 years old have lived out their usefulness and found their way to the scrapyard. Not Chuck Powelczyk’s VW Rabbit as he keeps racking up wins. Last Friday Powelczyk remained undefeated in 2014 grabbing wins number five and six on the season. TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS – Chuck Powelczyk 360. Chris Bonoffski 312. Colby Herzog 294.
