By Dave Medler - BREWERTON, NY - June 2, 2015 - Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux proudly presents one of the most popular nights of the racing season this Friday, June 5 with Family Autograph Night at the Brewerton Speedway.

Besides the great racing action, fans of all ages will be able to come trackside and get up close to all the race cars and meet their favorite racing stars for autographs, pictures and driver giveaways.

On track racing will include the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman, Pro Race Cars Mod Lites and Hilton's Automotive Four-Cylinders.

Here is a look back at racing action from May 29 and current point standings.

In the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds it was total domination by Larry Wight in the caution-free 35-Lap feature. When the checkers waved Wight was almost a half-a-track ahead of second place finisher Tim Kerr. TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS - Jimmy Phelps 198. Matt Sheppard 186. Pat Ward 168. Vinnie Vitale 160. Billy Decker 154.

“We finally got the monkey off our back,” were the words of SUNY Canton Sportsman driver Nick Krause after his feature victory last Friday. The week prior Krause had victory within sight when his car suffered a broken axle. The next night at Fulton Speedway Krause looked to have made the winning move for the win but a caution negated the pass. Last Friday Krause left no doubt taking the lead on Lap-5 and leading the rest of the distance.  TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS – Jack Meeks 208. Rich Townsend 176. Ron Davis III 173. Tony Finch II 172. Alan Fink 170.

After ending his feature in the pits on May 22 from contact with another competitor, Joe Isabell started a new win streak after his 25-Lap feature win last Friday in the Pro Race Cars Mod Lites. TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS – Joe Isabell 274. Jim Bogett 242. Jeff Sykes 240. Lowell Zehr 228. Mike Mullen 222.

Chris Bonoffski and Chuck Powelczyk put on an entertaining battle for the Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinder 15-Lap feature win. In the end Chuck Powelczyk picked up the victory to remain undefeated in 2015. TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS – Chuck Powelczyk 240. Chris Bonoffski 220. Colby Herzog 190. Sam Crista 172. Thomas Mackey 164.
