I started racing little J-Mod hydro boats at 11 in Canton Ohio. Then moved to Motocross & Supercross @ 16. Finally moved into cars at 34 when we moved to New York.Describe your most humorous moment in racing:
That's an easy one! It was my very first "all-most win" in supercross. I had the lead going through the last rhythm section. All I had was the table top jump before the finish line. My girlfriend was in the stands, so I whipped my bike sideways in the air, looked over, pointed at her, proceeded to miss my the grip on my handle bar on landing and crash like a rag doll. The laughter was deafening. I did not see to much of her after that....Why do you race at Brewerton Speedway?
I love the track and because Harvey, Joan & Family have a great facility. Bob is also great to work with. I literally moved back to New York, because of the Brewerton Speedway. I was transferred to New York from Arkansas in 2000 and raced here 00 and 01. I was then transferred to Ohio. After being gone for 2 years, and thinking about racing every day I decided to make a career change. So I sold everything in Ohio so we could come back to this area, where racing is so popular as well as it is a great place to raise a family. What are your most memorable moments in racing? Championships / Big Wins?
2001 Winning a Feature here on my Dad's Birthday. He drove up from Ohio that day just to see us race.
2004 I was just so stoked to be back racing and then we were able to pull off the track championship. My crew is fantastic and because of our maintenance program and a little mindful driving, we completed every lap of every Heat and Feature race that we entered at Brewerton in 04.What do you do when you are not racing and/or in the off-season?
Work hard at my job, Be Mr. Mom as much as I can. Hunt, fish, snowmobile and get the car ready.Comments / Is there anything else you would like the fans to know about you, the team, or your sponsors?
Just how much I appreciate the support of the local fans. They are the best!! I promise they will always get 110% out of me. And if I can't win, I'll promise to make it exciting. Thank you all so very much!!Profile Updated on 3/12/2007
