BREWERTON, NY - July 23, 2012 (By Dave Medler) - Two performances stood out this past weekend and that's why Jeff Isabell Jr. and Joe Kline are this week's "NAPA Know How" performers of the week.
At the Brewerton Speedway coming into Friday night in the Beaver River Distribution Mod Lites, Tim Devendorf has been dominate in 2012. In the seven races he has entered he was won six of them. Friday night, Devendorf was once again at the front of the field and looked to be headed to another victory. Jeff Isabell Jr. wasn't going to let that happen, as he was able to run down, and pass Devendorf on the last lap for his first ever Brewerton Speedway Mod Lite win.
Joe Kline had a great run Saturday in the SUNY Canton Sportsman feature at the Fulton Speedway. Kline, took the lead on lap 3 and held off all challengers and challenges till the final corner of the final lap. Defending Track Champion, Jeremy Pitcher was able to nip Kline at the line by 0.127 of a second at the finish. For Kline, it was one of his best runs he ever had.
For their performances, Jeff Isabell Jr. and Joe Kline, will receive $100 “NAPA Know How Performer of The Week” that is awarded weekly at both Brewerton and Fulton Speedways to one driver that outperforms all others that week across all classes.
The new NAPA Brewerton and Fulton Speedway Racer Discount Card are again in place. Each active speedway competitor will receive a NAPA card that will provide discounted pricing on most racing related purchases throughout the 2012 race season. Drivers will need to sign up with Speedway officials to be eligible for the program.
