Syracuse Haulers Presents Shriner And  Masons Night This Friday July 20 At The Brewerton Speedway

BREWERTON, NY - July 15, 2012 (By Dave Medler) - Syracuse Haulers the provider of refuse and recycling services to both the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways presents Shriner and Masons night this Friday, July 20th at the Brewerton Speedway.

On the race card will be the 800 horsepower Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Beaver River Distribution Mod Lites and Anchor Bar & Grill Four Cylinder Super Stocks.

Last Friday night Ryan Phelps won a hard fought battle over Jimmy Phelps, Matt Sheppard, Peter Britten and Robbie Bellinger. With parity in the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, Phelps joined only Matt Sheppard with more than one win this season at two. Nine different winners have gone to victory lane in 2012.

Kingston, Ontario's Ryan Scott picked up the big win last Friday in the Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds. With his win Scott keeps pace with points leader Kevan Cook in the battle for the title. Going into this week's racing, Scott trails Cook by three points.

Mike Mullen has come into his own this season in the Beaver River Distribution Mod Lites. After his big victory this past Friday he leads the way in the point standings. Gary Jeffries, Joe Isabell, Lowell Zehr and Nick Graziano are chasing Mullen in the top-five in the point standings.

Can anyone stop Chuck Powelczyk in the Anchor Bar & Grill Four Cylinder Super Stocks? Even though he got a late start, he has won six of the seven races he has competed in. Zak Petrie leads the point standings, followed by, Jessica Redhead, Chad Dupra, Chuck Powelczyk and Colby Herzog.

Area Shriners and masons will be on-site promoting their respective associations.The Shrine color guard will present the colors and live presentations of the Canadian and United States anthems.

Gates will open Friday night at 5:30 with the first green flag to wave at 7:30. . Adult grandstand admission will be $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted FREE to the grandstands. Pit admission will be $27 competitors/$30 for non-competitors.
