BREWERTON, NY April 10, 2012 (By Dave Medler) – The long wait is over and the highly anticipated season opener is within sight at the Brewerton Speedway.
The action will start Tuesday, April 17 with a Test And Tune for any dirt car. Gates will open at 5:30 with the cars hitting the speedway at 6:30. Grandstands are free with pit admission $20.
Then on Friday, April 20, Ehrlich Pest Control presents the 2012 season opener with the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites and the Anchor Bar And Grill Four Cylinder Super Stocks.
To show the strength of the Modified field every Friday night at the Brewerton Speedway, not only is it one of the toughest fields anywhere, in 2011 there was 12 different feature winners.
Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Defending Track Champion Kevan Cook will lead the charge for track, regional and national points.
In the Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites, don’t let their size fool you if you have never seen them before, as they are lightning fast, sophisticated race machines that average around 30 cars in the pits on a weekly basis.
The Anchor Bar And Grill Four Cylinder Super Stocks always put on exciting fender to fender action with features that routinely go green to checkers.
With the popularity of the speedway and the demand for suite space, construction crews have been building brand new sky view suites next to the existing ones. They should be completed by opening day.
For the competitors, the latest equipment in scales is being installed in the infield on a new concrete pad.

Gates on Friday, April 20 will open at 5:30 with the first green flag to wave at 7:30. Grandstand admission with be $12 for adults and everyone 18 years old and younger will be admitted FREE to the grandstands.
