NAPA, a strong supporter of the Brewerton Speedway and the title sponsor of the Late Models at the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways, and their “NAPA Know How” performers of the week presents a full night of racing this Friday August 26th.

With hockey season just around the corner, the Syracuse Crunch will have a presence at the speedway with their promotional team and mascot. The speedway is pleased to continue their long relationship with the Crunch as many race fans and teams spend their winter months at Crunch games. Go to www.syracusecrunch.com to learn more about the upcoming season and ticket information.

Dig Safely New York will have an Interactive Display trailer where you can see the real dangers of digging when you don't know what's under the ground. As an added bonus they will also have videos of past racing and photos of our past and present racing favorites.

The popular NAPA Late Models make a return this Friday night with a huge $1,000 to win 20 lap feature. Dale Caswell only leads in the points by 12 over Alan Fink. The top four of Caswell, Fink, AJ Kingsley and Gordy Button are only separated by 38 points.

The high flying Pizza Logs 600 Sprint Tour will take to the “D-Shaped Dirt Demon” every time this club comes to Brewerton, they bring more than a full field of cars. To learn more and see video of this class visit www.600sprinttour.com.

With two point races left to settle the 2011 track championship it a four-man race in the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds. Stewart Friesen, Matt Shappard, Jimmy Phelps and Billy Decker are only separated by 32 points.

A tight point battle isn’t only in the Modifieds.  Last week in the Beaver River Distribution ESDCA Mod Lites, Tim Devendorf took over the points lead when Jeff Isabell Sr. ran into mechanical problems. Going into Friday night, only 9 points is the difference between Devendorf and Isabell.

The Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds and Metalico Four Cylinder Super Stocks will also be on the race card.

Adult grandstand admission will be $12. Everyone 18 years old and younger will be admitted free to the grandstand. Gates will open at 5:30 with racing starting at 7:30.

The countdown is on for the 19th Annual Hurricane 100 presented by SUNY Canton on Thursday night October 6th. With the race paying at least  $7,500 to the winner and for the first time including Big Block Modifieds, look for the Brewerton regulars to defend their turf against what promises to be a stout field of invaders.
