BREWERTON, NY…The popular Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints will have a weekend in Central New York at Brewerton Speedway on Friday, August 20 and at Fulton Speedway on Saturday, August 21. The winged rockets will attempt to master the D-shaped Dirt Demon of Brewerton Speedway and the tricky high-banks of the Fulton Speedway. Everyone ages 18 and under will be admitted for free into the main grandstand. Race time at Brewerton is 7:30 p.m., while Fulton will start at 7 p.m.
Jessica Zemken, Justin Barger, Steve Poirier, Lance Yonge, Chuck Hebing, Dan Kaszubinski, Jeff Cook, Tommy Wickham, Kevin Ward, Alain Bergeron make-up the top ten in the Empire Super Sprints point standings as of this writing. More of the top drivers expected to be in competition include Michael Parent, Mike Stelter, Dylan Swiernik, Jason Barney, New Jersey invader Davey Sammons, part-time local Big Block Modified driver Shawn Donath and Eastern state Modified stand-out Dave Camara.
Joining the Empire Super Sprints in competition this Friday, August 20 at Brewerton Speedway will be the IMCA Modifieds, Mod Lites, Late Models and Four Cylinder Super Stocks. Track gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Race competition on SUNY Canton Night will start at 7:30 p.m. For more information please go on line to www.brewertonspeedway.com. At Fulton Speedway the Empire Super Sprints will be joined on the track by the DIRTcar Sportsman, Late Models, Novice Sportsman, Gladiators and Mod Lites. Track gates will open at 5 p.m. Race competition on SUNY Canton / Schneider Packaging Night will start at 7 p.m. For more information please go on line to www.fultonspeedway.com. Adult admission at both tracks is $15 for Adults. Everyone ages 18 and under will be admitted for free
