RYAN PHELPS GRABS SECOND CAREER BB MODIFIED WIN
BREWERTON, NY - After last week’s heavy rains that cancelled racing, Friday night race fans and race teams were treated to a picture perfect night for racing at the Brewerton Speedway. Ryan Phelps using the top of the speedway on a lap 9 restart went from 4th to the lead in one lap when he got by Tony Steiner exiting turn four to be scored the race leader on lap ten. Once out front Phelps survived a late yellow and challenge from Chuck Bower to win the 35 lap DIRTcar Big Block Modified feature. For the Newark, NY driver it was his second ever Big Block Modified win at the D-Shaped Dirt Demon.

BREWERTON, NY...This coming Friday night July 30 Waterfront/Calypso Cay Restaurants out of Brewerton will present military Appreciation Night. Anyone with a Military I.D will be admitted free to the speedway in appreciation for those men and woman who protect our freedoms here at home and abroad.

IMCA EMPIRE STATE SERIES HEADED TO BREWERTON
BREWERTON, N.Y. – First-time winners have been grabbing the headlines, but it’s a driver with three top five finishes who leads World Products Empire State Series point standings as the IMCA Modified series heads to Brewerton Speedway for a Friday, July 30 show.

BREWERTON, NY…Heavy rains forced Brewerton Speedway Officials to call off the scheduled race program last Friday night at the D-shaped Dirt Demon. The heavy rains left the grounds of the facility under water which would make any chance of race competition during the evening impossible. Professional dirt track auto racing excitement will continue this Friday, July 30 on Military Appreciation Night. All Military I.D. card holders will receive free grandstand admission.

MATT SHEPPARD WINS LONGHORN TRUCKING 50

BREWERTON, NY July 15, 2010 - Matt Sheppard took the lead from Jimmy Phelps on lap 11, and from there was never headed as he took the Longhorn Trucking 50 Modified Super DIRTcar Series Thursday night at the Brewerton Speedway to open night one of the All-Star weekend. The win was anything but easy for the Waterloo, NY driver as he had to hold off repeated challenges from Phelps right down to the checkers. Brewerton Speedway regulars took three of the top-five finishing positions. For Sheppard it was his third series win and fourth Brewerton win of the 2010 season.
